Vitally Cherenkov is currently the full professor of the Marketing Department in Graduate School of Management (GSOM), St. Petersburg State University (Russia).
Prior to joining the GSOM, he served on the faculty of Saint-Petersburg State University of Economics and Finances. He obtained a Diploma Specialist's degree as a radioengineer from Leningrad Aircraft Engeneering Institute (Leningrad, 1970), a Ph.D. in Economics from Leningrad Finance and Economics Institute (Leningrad, 1983), and a Grand Ph.D. in International Economics, Business, and Marketing from Saint-Petersburg State University of Economics and Finances (Saint-Petersburg, 2004). His research has been published in a number of academic journals including ... His primary research interests includes the fit among international marketing management, innovation phenomenon, hi-tech marketing and management, global marketing environment, general theory of marketing, and theory and practices of scientific English-Russian translation. He has taught at the bachelor's, masters' and Ph.D. levels on international operations, international marketing management, basic marketing, international business,and international logistics.
