• Freight forwarding service is the process of providing shipping services to shippers and consignees under a contract of freight

forwarding and established standards and requirements.

• Forwarding service is the kind of transportation service associated with the organization process, dispatch and receipt of goods as well as performing other activities related to shipping.
• Freight forwarder is party in the contract that arranges and provides transportation services for freight transport.

Forwarding Services Classification

Below there are the services provided to shippers and consignees forwarding by rail.

• Document Management delivery and receipt of goods:
  • Fill bill;
  • Diverting cargo clearance;
  • Delivery of cargo for shipment in public places and non-public at railway stations;
  • Delivery of goods at the destination station.
• Delivery and export of goods:
  • Services for cargo delivery from the warehouse of the shipper to the departure station and destination station to the warehouse of the consignee by road, rail or transport of other organizations that perform this work under the contract.
• Handling and storage of:
  • Loading, unloading, railway rolling stock and road transport at the departure station and destination station, in the warehouses of shipper and consignee;
  • Sorting of goods;
  • Loading goods in containers and unloading of them;

  • Notice the consignee about the shipment of goods in his address;
  • Notice the movement of goods and approach to the destination station;

  • Notification of loading cargo aboard the ship and arrived at their destination.
• Preparation and optional equipment of rolling stock:
  • Cleaning of wagons and containers of cargo residues and flushing;
  • Shipper providing the means bundling, bread boards;
